How to take a screenshot on Windows?
After installing SheepShock, taking a screenshot only takes four steps.
Press the shortcut
Press your shortcut, or choose "Capture Screen" from the main window, then mark the area you want with your mouse.
The editor opens
The captured image opens automatically in the editor window; drawing, cutting, and shape tools are ready right away.
Use the smart tools
Remove the background, erase an object, expand the canvas, or turn text in the image into editable text — all fully offline.
Copy or save
Copy the image straight to your clipboard, or save it to your computer as PNG, JPEG, or BMP.
Every tool in the editor window
The SheepShock editor has five groups of tools: clipboard actions, drawing tools, cutting tools, smart (AI) tools, and image tools. Below you'll find exactly what each one does.
Clipboard
Basic actions for quickly exporting the image and undoing/redoing changes.
Copy
Copies the selected piece if there is one, otherwise the whole image, straight to the clipboard.
Save
Saves the image to your computer as PNG, JPEG, or BMP.
Undo Ctrl+Z
Undoes the last action.
Redo Ctrl+Y
Reapplies an undone action.
Drawing Tools
Draw, mark up, and annotate directly on your screenshot.
Select / Move
Used to click and select rectangles, arrows, text, and cut pieces you've added, drag them to move, resize from the corner handles, and edit them from the Properties panel.
Pen
Freehand drawing; what you draw is baked directly into the image (a permanent stroke).
Rectangle
Adds a movable, resizable rectangle; line thickness and fill color can be adjusted.
Circle
Adds a movable circle/oval shape, working the same way as the rectangle.
Arrow
Draws a single- or double-headed arrow with adjustable thickness; ideal for pointing something out.
Add Text
Adds an editable text box on the image; font, size, and color can all be chosen.
Eraser
Erases pen strokes by dragging like a brush (a classic eraser, no AI involved).
Pick Color
Sets the drawing and fill color for tools like the pen, rectangle, and arrow.
Cutting Tools
Removes unwanted parts from the image entirely, or turns a region into a separate, movable piece.
Vertical Cut
Removes a vertical strip — marked with two clicks — completely from the image and merges the remaining pieces; the canvas shrinks.
Horizontal Cut
Applies the same logic on the horizontal axis.
Rectangle Cutter
"Cuts" the selected rectangular region out of the image and turns it into a separate, movable piece, leaving a transparent gap behind.
Circle Cutter
Applies the same cutting logic to a circular selection.
Freehand Cutter
Cuts along a freehand boundary you draw; useful for creating irregularly shaped pieces.
Smart Tools
Three AI models are installed on your device along with the app; nothing is ever sent to the internet — everything runs fully offline.
Remove Background
Automatically makes the background of the image transparent.
Smart Eraser
Fills the brushed area naturally by sampling the surrounding texture and color — for example, it can remove text printed on an object without disturbing the surface.
Smart Canvas Expand
Uses a lightweight generative AI model to grow the canvas in any direction and fill the new area in a way that's consistent with the scene.
Extract Text from Image (OCR)
Converts the text in the image — or just the selected area, if one is selected — into editable, copyable text; works in both Turkish and English.
Image Tools
Classic, lightweight image-processing tools that don't require AI.
Add Filter
Apply black & white, sepia, negative, blur, and brightness/contrast filters together, and remove them all with one click.
Upscale Resolution
Enlarges the image by 1.5x–4x using classic/smooth resampling; can be reverted if needed.
